The Autry National Center is home to three institutions: the Museum of the American West, the Southwest Museum of the American Indian, and the Institute for the Study of the American West. The collection can be searched online. Open Tues.-Sun. 10:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M.. Open Thurs. until 8:00 P.M. during summer months.

A museum of the Smithsonian Institution, dedicated to the preservation, study, and exhibition of the life, languages, literature, history, and arts of Native Americans. Open 10:00 AM-5:30 PM daily; closed December 25.
