I have several pieces of pottery from Japan, however, each is marked differently!!! Two pitchers are stamped on bottom with JAPAN only. One pitcher has mark 3/4 circle, Japan marked in middle, with straight line going down. number 2255. The first two pitchers are green like jade with creme running from the top one has two daisies, and one has three. Of course one is larger than the other. The other pitcher is pure white with grapes. Please can someone tell me what I have!!!!!!!

Hello, you have several pottery items made in Japan. Japan used so many different mark’s. sometimes you can tell the age by the color of the mark or it’s design, some have wreaths, some are red, black, or the word’s “made in Japan”. I really don’t know how much you want to know. I can tell you that Japan exported a lot of stuff to the states just like China is now. None of it will make you rich.

Well I am half-Japanese and our Japanese family had a large kiln. So, if I was to find a piece of their pottery, I would feel rich.
