I recently came across a pair of salt and pepper shakers with the mark “Royal Satsuma- Nippon”.
I was wondering if anyone would know when they were made or how much they are worth. I would appreciate any response you could make. Thank you for your help.

Thank you for your help. It is much appreciated. I have tried to load a picture so you could see one of them but it may or may not fit. Thanks again.:)

assuming they are the real thing they are asking $1.00 to $80.00 on e-bay. A realilistic price today would be $25.00 to $45.00 depending on how ornate they are. Nippon was used before 1921 after that they had to use Japan. There was so many factories in Japan it’s almost impossible to name where in Japan.
