Hi Geno, I could not find this mark anywhere so I started to consentrate on the picher and it’s unusual shape. I came up with only one co. that made this shape and it is the Harker pottery co.in Ohio and West Virgina. They made a 2 qt round and 2qt. square starting in the 1930ties. What you have is called a referator jug and was made for Kevinator. In different color’s and red stripe on white. They are indentical to your’s. They made these for Montg.ward,Sears and many other companies usually given when you bought a refrigerator, Sometimes a mark was put on or a logo a merchant wanted. Most were unmarked. I’m not positive this is it or it could be that a worker put his mark on it which some of them did. Have a good day
Thank you so much. The piece looks and feels really old and so does the mark which is almost primitive. The mark is, whats the word when it’s not just on top but also kind of etched into the glaze itself? I’m thinking along the same lines, that it’s something so familiar but the mark is throwing us off.
The marks inside the circle can definitely be the letter M
here is another close up I super enhanced it
