I know that shown mark was already found on items from Tirschenreuth, Retsch, and even some reading MADE IN JAPAN. Comparing found items with original products shows that it’s a mark used on (re)decorated items. Most decoration studios never registered their marks and per definition do not produce anything, meaning that they are of course not covered by reference books. So information regarding these decoration businesses is rarely available.
The covered original manufacturer mark lets us at least recognize who produced the original and during which period: Bareuther from Waldsassen used that mark between 1970 and 1993. Which does not influence the overall value or state the true age of the (re)decoration itself, it’s just a pointer.
Thank you so much for the info. I’m new to this forum and will read up more on the articles here and I have subscribed to the newsletter.

This is listed as an unidentified mark !! It is not the mfrs mark,, that would be the one under it !! What is usually found is that these marks over the mfrs mark is either the decorating studio or an importers mark !! Is this two separate marks you are showing ?? Can we see the item ?? Always need to see the item as well as the mark !!
Which do you mean? What forum section / post?
