I can tell by the way its made it is not a factory produced item !! Even in Colonial times childrens sets were made with the same exact standards as the adult sets !! Some even in silver !! Back then only the wealthy could afford them for children !! This is a coffee pot not a chocolate pot !! Its always possible that a factory worker constructed this one for his child !! If you notice the uneven hand writing and color on the body of the pot,,the handle is simply a tube of clay that was rolled and attached !! Notice the number 7 and the letter Z is crossed as they do in Europe !! So probably made there !! It likely had a lid of some kind !! Because of the crude method of construction no way to say how old it is but may not be as old as one would think !!
