I recently purchased this beautiful ewer/vase at a resale store (photos attached).  After research on several websites I’ve discovered it may possibly have some value.  It has the Zsolnay Pecs blue five steeple mark and a number on the bottom which the company used in late 19th century. I’m hoping that someone can provide further information and possibly age and value. Thank you for your assistance.

I was hoping someone on this site could give me a possible value on this ewer. I have tried contacting someone on the Zsolnay website but apparently that site is not active. Thanks for any assistance in advance.

Good Buy !! At that price,, you can`t lose !! I have bought some things with damage just because I liked them !!

Awesome!! Of course was hoping it was more…. but considering I only paid $1… that’s great!!
Thank you!

Well,, if the number is 87 it would have been made between 1873 and 1882 !! If 870 or above would be 1882 to 1885 !! These small pieces usually are not expensive and with the damage on your ewer even less so !! I would say maybe $50. USD !!

Sorry about the pics appearing upside down….when I open them they are upright. The item is 5 3/4″. Looking at the mark in correct view the number appears to be 87…the brown tag or label catches the number just enough that I can’t be positive tho. I’ve added another couple of pics that shows the good sized chip in rim that is 1″ long and a small nick on the underside of the lip…I hope you get them. I do appreciate you taking another look
