Can someone help me value this please. No date that I can find it is soft leather . 4 x 6 inches . Peachy rose color. It was given as a gift in 1916. Has bday wishes with date. The kings treasury literary masterpieces with a crest on one page. Then a beautiful etching with tissue paper on another page.
Can you tell me how many pages are in this book ?? From the first edition on,, each reprint was added to and revised by Whitman !! The first editions have only 95 pages !! Later printings had more and even the poems were added and taken away on some !! This was a special binding done for the persons birthday as a gift !! It was not sold to the public in this cover that I can find !! No way to accurately guess what a speciality
book would bring !! Need to see which revision you have first !! Number of pages may help with that !! The stains and condition of the cover will affect the price !!
Can you look inside and see what edition this book is ?? Should be on the first two or three pages with publishers info !!
