I am trying to figure out what this item is used for !!
I think it is a tobacco jar; but I’m sure that it could be used for many things such as onions, garlic, sourdough starter, etc.

It’s about 12″-14″ tall; and about 4″-5″ wide (sorry, I don’t have the exact measurements at the moment)
What is this mark found on ?? Need to see the item in question !! The mark is a play on the crowned N Capodimonte mark which is similar !!

It appears to be on top of the glaze. Do you think this means it’s a forgery of some type? Or maybe it was a valuable piece that had the original maker’s mark removed from the bottom, (then reglazed)? I haven’t found that particular mark anywhere online so far.
