I have this lovely G. W. Turner tea/coffee pot. It is not the normal transfer ware that I see by them but really ornate, there has been so much attention to detail.
There are two fairies on the front and the words ‘It is not always May’ which I have found out is a poem.
I know it is by G.W. Turner because of the mark on the base but I would appreciate any opinion on value and any other thoughts.
Thank you
Sorry to be so long !! I have found nothing about a teapot in this style by Turner !! Don`t sell it until you have more info !! Will search more later,, hubby was in the hospital so not much time !!
Thank you for your reply. I am in no rush at all, your husband must come first.
Since posting this I have found a wall plaque for sale which looks to have been made in a similar style but I would still appreciate you opinion. Thanks
