I am trying to research and value a completely restored Graybar no 50 Sunshine Lamp. Every piece on the machine works as it should. Two appraisers had no idea of it,s worth. It has the original model, serial number and maker on a plate in back “patent applied for. Any help would be appreciated. It is in old magazines from
the late 1930,s and later to the 1940,s. It sold then for $135 back then.

Thank you

Thank you. Yes I was planning on selling it. It was restored but using all the original parts, and basically spruced up the bottom piece in another color gold. It is basically still the same unite as it was when it was sold except the gold on the base. Nothing other than that, and the painting of the unit was changed. I thought perhaps it would sell as an art deco item or steam punk. It is a beautiful piece, when you see it in person. Larger than it looks.
Yes I saw the article on the history of the tanning lamp. And if you open this one up, it looks the same, works the same, just a lot cleaner. Thank you for the link though. I am sure someone would enjoy just the novelty of such an item beyond the aesthetics of it,.

Thank you for all your help
