I would like to know the history and value of a Barbour Silver Co. quadruple plated basket with a handle. The size is 5 1/2″ round and it has a beaded edge. I have searched the internet and have not found any like this.

There is no history behind any of these items,, history begins when someone purchases them or as in this case,, gifts them to someone !! Never is there a company history,, its just something to sell !! These baskets were typically called brides baskets or wedding baskets and given when someone married !! Just silver plate so no great silver value many styles by this company and usually sell for $50. or less !!
