Hello,
I was wondering if anybody could help me with this hallmark to determine the maker of this box. It was sold to me as Limoges. Nobody can figure out the Hallmark.I have Limoges books with Hallmarks and cannot figure it out. I apologize for the one duplicate image was having a hard time uploading. I have tried lots of places online trying to figure this out. People say to just say it’s a Limoges/Sevres style box. It would be very cool to figure out out the maker.

Sorry for being direct (Czechs and Germans are like that) but you will probably never find out who actually MADE the item as the mark shown is that of the importer and retailer Charles Ahrenfeldt from New York. I find it hard to believe that people did not step up and tell you that, at least. Perhaps you should start to observe eBay’s pottery, porcelain and glass forum. It’s free and full of people that would have given you that info straight away 🙂
Nobody could figure this out. Thank you so much for the information. I will look into the forums on eBay that you mentioned. I’m so glad that somebody could help me with this.
