I recently acquired 5 pieces of Deldare ware, made by Buffalo Pottery- a dresser tray and 4 mugs. While I was easily able to identify the dresser tray (Dancing Ye Minuet), I have been completely stumped on the mugs. They feature Indian/Native American scenes and they have the Buffalo Pottery mark on the bottom (1909). I finally got a copy of the Book of Buffalo Pottery (by Seymour and Violet Altman) and apparently this is not an actual pattern with a name- the “Indian Scenes mugs,” as they refer to them, were likely made as a special item. Because of this, I have NO idea how to value/price them appropriately. Does anyone have any idea of the worth of these mugs, or of a resource I can use to get more information?
