I found an unusual high chair recently – it appears to be made for a special needs child as it has a sliding potty tray, and what appears to be a foot-warming box below the foot rest. I’d like to know more about this chair – and would like to know if it has any value.
Please look at the photos and let me know what you think.
Note that much of the hardware (hooks, latches, etc) appears to be hand-made, rather than mass-produced. Finish is not original, nor is the fabric seat back.
Most of the wood appears original, except the seat bottom.
It is on small, brass casters with small black wheels.
Much thanks for your help!

Marthahill, You are welcome to repost – or print or do whatever you like, concerning the pictures. Any help would be welcome, as I don’t know anything about the history of the chair, or it’s value.
thanks

i have looked for names but have found none .
I disassembled the entire chair and looked for any kind of mark, or name – nothing is evident.
I’ll try to get a better picture of the footwarmer – it’s at the bottom of the chair, and it appears that hot bricks or coals were put in there and there are holes that allow the heat to rise and heat the childs feet. The upper surface of the inside of the footwarmer is slightly charred – it looks like it was ‘cooked’ over a long time, not just a single burn.
