I’m winding up a family member’s estate and need some help identifying an item. Through research I’ve managed to identify it as Dragonware, but that’s about all.
The information I have is that it was bought some time in the 1960’s. It is in excellent condition with no visible damage and has never been used. The little bird shaped shakers as well as the base have the mark PAT.T.K. on them.
Can anyone perhaps assist with identifying and if possible, with value?

Interesting !! If you are going to sell them,,can you post a link to the sale page ?? Might be a learning experience for me !! Would love to follow it !!

Unfortunately I cannot post a link as I went ahead and had this and several other items from the estate, valued by an antiques specialist at a local auction house. That was the actual valuation and feedback I received.

Where did you find that information ?? Can you post a link please ??

I already managed to find the details. It’s a Dragonware nodder salt pepper and condiment set. This particular one is quite rare, hence the difficulty in finding details. It will probably be priced in the range of $50.00
Most older nodder sets of shakers, such as this one, were made in Japan in the 1930s and 1940s and are usually marked ‘Japan’, ‘Made in Occupied Japan’, ‘Patent TT’, ‘Pat KS’, or ‘Pat TK’.
Nodders salt and pepper shakers are currently quite popular and sought after collectible items. They are very difficult to find and prices are increasing.

Could be from that era,, I personally do not remember that being a popular past time back then,, but you never know !! Nothing come up as a studio piece and a factory mark would be stamped or in the mold as a rule !! Of course there are always exceptions !!
