I have a 11-1/2 inch tall, 4″ base Westmoreland paneled grape basket in smoke that is iridized. It has the W through the G on the bottom. I cannot find a value or any type of description at all. There is one guy in Iowa(dayspringcollectible) that says he owns this very basket and it is one of a kind! Can anyone tell me the value and how many were made maybe. The Iowa guy cannot have the only one since I am looking at mine.

Here is info on Westmorland from experts on carnival glass !! There are three parts here and shows many of the rare colors and patterns that were produced by Westmorland !! Your basket is not included !! They did give the selling prices on other rare pieces !! Its not even close to what that guy is asking !! I think the most was about $400. !! At the bottom of page 3 they have an email address to contact them !! That is what I suggest you do !! They may or may not even be aware of this basket and want to include it in their site !! At least they can tell you what you have and its possible worth !!
