Hi all, I’m trying to determine a resale value for this basket that used to be my Grandmothers’. My mom has had it these past 25+ years and as its not a family heirloom (Grandma was a huge thrifter) would like me to sell it. I usually deal with mid-century items so I am way out of my league here. We literally know nothing about this basket other than it is remarkably well made and it is incredibly durable. Can anyone tell me what I have here and what this is worth on the resale market? Thank you in advance for all your help!

I did read your original post,,sorry for being so late !! Usually when you see these wide bamboo splints like on the bottom of yours and the one in the link,,you can figure they are from Japan, Malaysia,,Taiwan or similar place !! 1960`s and 70`s these storage baskets were shown in Country Living room settings as well as other design magazines !! They were popular for storing bathroom items as well as being decorative !! There were many styles of weaving !! Most were purchased from various import shops !! I would say the price on the ebay link,,$39.95 or less would be about right to start !! Most will sell for less than that !!
