Letter from Titanic Passenger Makes Record Price
The Titanic was carrying 2,223 passengers when it sank in the icy waters of the Atlantic on April 12, 1912, 106 years ago. This letter was recovered from a passenger’s pocket notebook and later given to his family. It sold at auction for almost $165,776.
