Tom & Jerry Punch Bowl and Cups
Q: My uncle owns a Tom & Jerry bowl and 14 cups. The set was originally a wedding gift to a couple married in the late 1940s or early '50s. He doesn't know if the set was new then. The bowl and cups are marked "Homer Laughlin, Made in U.S.A., J52N8" and have gold-rimmed edges. The lettering is gold, too, and there is a gold stripe on the handle of the cups. Can you tell us about this set and its possible value?
