Ron Arad
One of the highest-priced modern furniture designers is Ron Arad (1951–present), who opened a design studio, One Off Ltd., in London in 1981. He experimented with unusual uses of materials and technology to create famous pieces like the Rover Chair, the vacuum-packed, deflatable Transformer bag chair, and the remote-controlled Aerial light.
