Design

“Design” refers to the “modern style” popularized by American and Scandinavian industrial designers of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. This style is found in decorative and functional items, including furniture, lighting, glass, ceramics, and appliances. Many iconic designers and factories have their own recognizable styles or are considered founding members of artistic movements.
