Art Deco

Art Deco, or Art Moderne, a style started in 1925, is characterized by linear, geometric designs. All types of furniture and decorative arts, jewelry, book bindings, and even games were designed in this style. "Art Deco" was a nickname given because the new designs were introduced in France at the Exposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes.
