Wemyss ware was made by Robert Heron & Son, later called Fife Pottery, in Scotland. It is a colorful peasant-type pottery that is occasionally found in the United States. Wemyss ware was originally made by Fife Pottery in Scotland. It was discontinued in 1957, but reappeared in 1985 made by Griselda Hill Pottery. The Wemyss trademark was registered in 1994.
