Q: I have a round alabaster plaque picturing two lovers. It’s signed “E.W. Wyon, des & sculpt Jan. 4, 1848.” It’s 7 1/4 inches in diameter and is in a heavy gesso-gilt frame that’s 11 1/2 inches square. There’s a black seal on the back, possibly bronze. Is the plaque valuable?
