Stretch Out Discussions are held periodically to provide education and learning opportunities to all who are interested in learning about American Iridescent stretch glass. The Discussions are conducted via a Zoom meeting with photos of the stretch glass being discussed available at www.stretchglasssociety.org. Discussions are led by stretch glass experts and researchers including Cal Hackeman, Kitty & Russell Umbraco, Dave Shetlar, Sarah Plummer and others.
This call will be ‘Show and Tell’ in format. Stretch enthusiasts will see who can show the tallest swung vase. Our experts will give us some tips of how we can identify these vases that have been swung to the limit! A week or so before the meeting, a photo album featuring swung vases will be available on the Stretch Glass Society website www.stretchglasssociety.org.
The discussion will begin promptly at 8pm Eastern time via a Zoom meeting. We look forward to seeing the vases your members will be sharing with us and we welcome all who have an interest in learning about stretch glass.
