Stretch Out Discussions are held periodically to provide education and learning opportunities to all who are interested in learning about American Iridescent stretch glass. The Discussions are conducted via a Zoom meeting with photos of the stretch glass being discussed available at www.stretchglasssociety.org. Discussions are led by stretch glass experts and researchers including Cal Hackeman, Kitty & Russell Umbraco, Dave Shetlar, Sarah Plummer and others.
We are starting off our Stretch Out Discussion ’24 Series on January 11 with ‘Show Us Your White, Crystal, Pearl & Persian Pearl Stretch Glass’.
This glass takes many forms in a range of sizes from a tiny salt dip to a massive punchbowl. Eight of the nine producers of stretch glass included some version of crystal stretch glass in their offerings. This call will be Show and Tell in format.
The discussion will begin promptly at 8pm Eastern time. We look forward to sharing insights with you on these unique rarities.
