According to a Consumer Reports article (September 2014), “don’t price anything” if you run a garage sale. Instead, “ask buyers for their best offer.” We aren’t so sure. You should at least figure out what you should expect to get. I don’t feel comfortable at an unpriced sale and often walk out when I see there are no price tags.
