Cowan Pottery Studio/Cowan Potters, Inc. (1913–1931)

R. Guy Cowan opened his Cowan Pottery Studio in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1913. Early Cowan pieces were terra-cotta and buff clay that was lead-glazed.
