Elizabethan Revival (1840-1850)

Elizabethan Revival was a very short-lived style that could be classified as part of the Rococo Revival. Furniture in the Elizabethan Revival style mainly consisted of chairs and sofas that featured spiral-turned legs and uprights, plus needlework seats. A few examples of this style remained in favor into the 1870s.
