Amelung Glass koveladmin 5 years ago John Frederick Amelung, another German immigrant, operated the New Bremen Glass Manufactory in Maryland from 1785 to 1795. Like Stiegel, the glasshouse produced European-style tableware, much of it with engraved designs.
