The “must-have” toy of the 1983 Christmas season, more than three million 15-inch, soft-sculptured Cabbage Patch Kids, each with its own birth certificate, were “adopted” that year alone. By 1990 65 million Cabbage Patch Kids had been sold. Original dolls with original papers still have some value today.
