Fireback
Q: I bought this fireback several years ago and had it soda-blasted to remove several layers of paint. The back is stamped “Design copyrighted by Peerless Mfg Co., Low Ky. Feb. 1887.” Can you tell me anything about the history of the piece, its value, and if the design has some significance?
