KT & K Washbowl and Pitcher

Q: I have had this bowl and pitcher for about 50 years. I tried looking for Maine pottery makers who used this mark but had no luck. I would like to know who made this set and about how old it is. I would also like to know the set's value, because I'm considering donating the bowl and pitcher to a local historic home.
