Polish Mark

Q: This mark is on my candy dish. I think the dish came from Poland.

A: You are right. The mark was used by the Walbrzych Porcelain Factory near the town of Walbrzych in southwestern Poland. Borders in Europe have changed and the town was called Waldenburg before 1945, when it was part of Germany. Most dishes by Walbrzych sell for less than $50.
