Evaluating Your Rhinestone Pins

Rhinestone pins made since the 1930s can be judged by these clues. “Good” are made of white metal that is twisted, not soldered. Stones are pasted in place. “Better” have some colored rhinestones, prong set, with brass colored mounting. And “best” are marked with a maker’s name like Eisenberg, and have detailed settings and prong-set Swarovski rhinestones in rhodium-plated metal. Condition must be good with no missing rhinestones or metal.
