Fisher-Price Little People Are Updated Again

Search in your toy box for old Fisher-Price Little People. They have just been updated–again. The company hopes the latest changes will mean the names of the dolls will be memorable and perhaps lead to more TV shows, videos, and licensed products. All the publicity could increase the value of old Fisher-Price dolls. The new ones are thinner and taller than old ones. The very first dolls were the three permanently attached to the 1950 Looky Fire Truck. Then, in 1959, came the Safety School Bus, with six freestanding cardboard people. The figures were wooden in the 1960s until about 1968, when plastic people were introduced. The characters had few features and no arms. The Little People have been remodeled seven times.
