6 oz. Green glass pop bottle is intact, with paper label showing “Minimum Contents, 6 Fluid Ozs, ATOMIC* COLA, Bottled By ATOMIC*COLA, CO., Detroit Mich.” Bottle has symbol on bottom (see photo) with a number 3 to the left of it, a number 8 to the right and a 3 with a period (.) next to it. The glass at the bottom is uneven. Could this be a Pepsi or Coca Cola bottle? Can anyone point me in right direction to research this bottle further? Thank you in advance.

Thats the Owens-Illinois diamond mark !! So your bottle was made after 1929 !! Would not likely be from Coke,, but somewhere I read that a few of the bottlers of the day did sell the soda syrup !! Whoever bought it then added the carbonated water and bottled it under their brand !! Not sure if that is true !! Pepsi did hit some rough times after the war and was up and down for a while !! Guess its possible they may have done something like that to keep their heads above water !! But its way more likely that your bottle was one of the smaller companies that barely got started before it went under !! The label would make me think that since it is so plain and the bottle as well !! Many of the other bottlers were already using the painted labels by then !! This company may have been in the planning stages for the painted labels but just couldn`t stay afloat moneywise !! Times were tough back then and the Depression started in 1929 !!
Where did you find this bottle with the label intact ?? Those labels would not have lasted long !!
Bottle found in dug out basement. Dark and dry.
