I’m brand new to Kovels so please bear with me.  I found this piece at an estate sale.  It is reminiscent of a Tang Dynasty style Fat Woman Statue but appears to be much newer.  It has been hand painted and the adornment in her hair is made of a gold tone metal.  There are no marks to be found. Her approx. measurements follow.

Height – 11 3/4″ (This includes the base)
Width – 5″ (This includes the base)
Depth – 5″ (This includes the base)
Weight – 4 pounds

I am having trouble deciding what she is made of?  Looks a little like Ceramic or perhaps a light color earthenware.  I cannot find anything on the internet that is close.  Any thoughts on age, price, material etc.Kovels-Picture-3-2325a.JPGwould be so helpful.  Thank you all for your time.
