This red clay pot is about six inches long and 3 inches wide. It has what looks like a stylized palm tree design and a scribed line at the top. It looks a bit “bean shaped” to me. It has a flattened base that shows some evidence of old soot/fire? It shows very authentic wear. I suspect it may be antiquity mississippian – but that’s just my best guess. Can anyone help?
I have added them above. I believe 1945 was the date someone collected this piece. It is not what I think of as a “bean pot”.
