Hello,

I have a few pieces of furniture that were part of my grandparents living room set after they got married. I believe them to be from the 1940s but they were reupholstered in the late 80s or early 90s. Anyone have an idea what brand these could possibly be? I want to list them for sale but I have no idea what to ask for them. I also do not want to just throw them out either. The condition is far from perfect, they need work. Please see the link for pictures of them. Thanks for any advice.

Pics are not close enough to tell about feet, finish or upholstery but it does look like a late 30`s or 1940`s era Queen Anne style sofa and chairs !! The way the wood is on the arms tells me it is probably early 40`s !! There is no way to know what mfr. made them because almost every furniture mfr. working at that time had almost the same style or a variation of it !!

Here are a few on ebay !! Condition is going to hurt the sale of your set but having the sofa and chairs may help !! I would say around $200 to $250. for all !! Even in great condition this style is so common,,it a hard sell !!
