I have a C.M. Bott curio cabinet that I got from my mother’s estate and am looking for a key to open it. I was transporting this plus other furniture from CT to CO and the complete U-Haul trailer the key and shelves were in were stolen. Fortunately I had the cabinet lying down in the back of the truck under a locked canopy so it wasn’t taken. I’ve been looking without luck so far for a key to open the cabinet so I can have new shelves made. So far in the area I live I haven’t found a locksmith who can open without force which would damage the wood.

If you can find any info on the lock itself,,name,,serial number ect !! This site may help !! You can also buy the set of keys,,7 different barrel keys” for $16.95 !! Might be worth a try !! Look at the bottom of the page for contact info and ask them what they have that might work !! Most of the reviews were positive but a few didn`t find a key that worked with their item !! But that is not the fault of the company !!
