She is not aware of which store it was purchased from, she knows it was shortly after her parents were married and she remembers the pink shade vaguely more so because that’s how her mom referred to the lamp was by the shade color…but she’s pretty sure the same lamp shade frame was used to make the new shade but the original shade she wants to say was a velvet type material….this lamp just keeps sounding les and less my style lol

Thanks !! Did she say where she bought it ?? Was it from an antique shop, department store, or what ?? I was pretty sure the plug and wiring was from that era but it could have been rewired !! If it was an older lamp at that time possibly that was why the shade was redone !!

I asked my mother in law about the lamp and anymore information she might possibly have and the only things she can tell me was she is pretty sure it was purchased by her mother in chicago possibly as late as the mid 50s, and she is pretty sure the original lampshade was a rose color to match and this one was handmade on the same frame as the original.

Hope this helps
