Hello,
I have a furniture set that I would like to make sure is properly covered for insurance. The set is made out of cuban mahogany. It has a china cabinet, a table, and 6 chairs.
The bottom drawer of the china cabinet was damaged at one point in time, and restored by my uncle who teaches sculpting wood. The table is in good condition, the chairs are as well, but have been re-upholstered. The fabric used to re-upholstered matched the original fabric as close as possible.
I was told this set is from the mid 1800’s.
Any thoughts on how much I should value this set at for insurance would be greatly appreciated!
