How did your parents come by this set ?? The face as known as the Green Man, German and Scandinavian folk lore !! Keeper of the forest !! If you look a bit farther down in the posts here you can see a different version but a similar face known as North Wind face !! Green man has leaves and greenery around him and North Wind does not !!
