I think it was made 1930`s or 40`s !! Made of oak so good sturdy set !! No huge value but I wouldn`t give it away !! If in excellent condition maybe $400. to $600. !!

My parents bought it from another person in about 1963. The people were moving into a smaller house and did not have room for it.

How did your parents come by this set ?? The face as known as the Green Man, German and Scandinavian folk lore !! Keeper of the forest !! If you look a bit farther down in the posts here you can see a different version but a similar face known as North Wind face !! Green man has leaves and greenery around him and North Wind does not !!
