Do you mean it was made in France ? Where did you buy it,,what name is on the front of the clock:( ? And where are you located ?

Hi. Many of the figural clocks were French made but many were also British and American. Most of the ones with small round movements were Made in France, which are the highest quallity when made by makers such as A.D.Mougin or Japy Freres et Cie. Values for pieces like yours in working condition run anywhere from $450 right up to $3500. Yours is a particularly nice one.
You can identify the maker of the movement by removing the back door if there is one and removing the bell to see the makers name on the brass movement.
