I have a dresser that has a carving of a covered wagon and horses (??? they kinda look like horses, maybe mules) and the handles are 1/2 wagon wheels (but solid not with holes between spokes). Anyway I purchased it over 30 years ago and have not seen another one like it. I would like to know who may have made the dresser and when.

Thanks

Here is another of their patterns with a blacksmith theme !! The value given is from 2015 so may have changed since then !! I also saw one from the 50`s with an airplane theme !! Good thing is they made solid maple furniture !! You should be able to find a burned in stamp with the Virginia House name on it !! Usually inside a drawer !!

You may be able to look through their catalogue !! They had many different variations but all on the western theme !! Just as the furniture mfrs today have many variations !! I mean one single style does not appeal to all !! And it really makes little difference in value !! I may like one style of drawer pull better than another so if the item is similar I would buy the one I liked !! The western theme has not been a popular one in manufactured furniture lately !!

But mine have 1/2 wagon wheels while the ones on the website have small whole wheels. Does that make any difference? I’m going to look into the drawers and see if there is any markings and on the back.

Thanks
