I have a Klemp “hoosier” type cabinet that belonged to my paternal grandparents but they altered the lefthand cupboard and I can’t tell if there was a flour bin there or what. My Dad is 92 and can’t really remember what it used to look like. I’ve attached pictures of the cupboards and base and the etched glass door. It’s a 2-door cupboard and most of the ones I’ve seen are 3-door. Can you help me out at all? Thanks.

I’ve been looking everywhere for someone with information on this cabinet! I hope you are still following this thread and have found more information on it since you originally posted.

I also got mine from my paternal grandparents, but unfortunately, they both have passed. I don’t think the left side has been altered because mine is identical – it has shelves and the pull-out spice rack instead of room for a flour bin. The hardware is mostly copper which I have just started cleaning up. The glass panes on my doors are not frosted, though, so that may be an alteration…

I, too, am less concerned with the monetary value. I can’t imagine selling it given the sentimental value it has for me, but I was curious about where it came from and how rare it is. So glad to see a familiar picture after looking through hundreds of others!
