Hello, I am a new collector of brass, glass and other interesting items and I have a lot of learning needed. Today, I am inquiring about a glass kerosene lamp that appears to be pre 1900. I believe that it would be considered to be a #2 (the larger size) lamp that is all glass and is turning purple from the manganese content in the glass. The brass burner says “Queen Anne” on it. I was not able to find much by searching your site.

Does anyone have knowledge concerning this type of lamp? I do not have my camera handy to add a photo for you today.

You did not post a pic of the lamp or the burner although the burner rarely has anything to do with the lamp !! Maker of the lamps bought the burners in bulk !!
Are you looking at the asking prices or sold prices ?? Look on ebay and check the sold and completed sales to get prices paid !!

Thank you Martha for the link which provided brass burners for it although I was interested in finding the lamp itself for pricing reasons. I did find a couple similar lamps on etsy which are priced around $46 to $50.
